कर्नाटक एम्टाच्या अधिका-यांना सुनावले..!
चंद्रपूर,दि. 25 सप्टेंबर : भद्रावती तालुक्यातील बरांज येथे असलेल्या कर्नाटक एम्टा कंपनीतील कामगारांच्या विविध प्रलंबित मागण्यासंदर्भात कंपनीच्या अधिका-यांना चांगलेच सुनावले. या कामगारांच्या मागण्या अनेक दिवसांपासून प्रलंबित असून कंपनी व्यवस्थापन त्याकडे दुर्लक्ष करीत असल्याचे गावक-यांनी निदर्शनास आणून दिले. यावर संबंधित अधिका-यांना जाब विचारला.
केंद्रीय कोळसामंत्री प्रल्हाद जोशी यांच्या बैठकीत मान्य झालेल्या मागण्या नंतरही सुधारीत नियुक्तीपत्र का दिले नाही. तसेच हजारीबाग (झारखंड) येथे असलेल्या त्रिवेणी माईन्सच्या धर्तीवर कामगारांचे किमान वेतन का लागू केले नाही. किमान कोल वेतनानुसार कामगारांचे वेतन ठरविणे आवश्यक आहे. यासंदर्भात 21 जुलै 2022 रोजी जिल्हाधिका-यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली कामगारांच्या किमान कोल वेतनाबाबत बैठक घेण्यात आली. मात्र तरीसुध्दा कर्नाटक एम्टा याबाबत चालढकल करीत असल्याचे निदर्शनास आले आहे. ही अतिशय गंभीर बाब आहे. याबाबत लवकरच राज्य सरकार, कर्नाटक सरकार, एम्टा कंपनीच्या वरिष्ठ अधिका-यांशी मुंबईत बैठक घेतली जाईल, असे यावेळी सांगितले.
कंपनीच्या खाणीमध्ये आतापर्यंत 10 कामगारांचा मृत्यु झाला. मात्र केवळ सहा जणांनाच आर्थिक लाभ मिळाला असून उर्वरीत चार जणांना कधी लाभ देणार, अशी विचारणा अधिका-यांना केली.
तीन दिवसांत संबंधित कुटुंबाला नुकसानभरपाई मिळणे अपेक्षित होते. येत्या मंगळवारपर्यंत हा लाभ संबंधित कुटुंबाला मिळाला पाहिजे. पुनर्वसनास प्राप्त असलेल्या प्रकल्पग्रस्तांची यादी त्वरीत अंतिम करा. ब्लास्टिंग करतांना काही कामगारांच्या घराच्या भिंतीला तडे गेले आहे. त्याची नुकसानभरपाई कंपनीने तात्काळ द्यावी. तसेच यापुढे ब्लास्टिंगमुळे भिंतींना भेगा पडणार नाही, याची काळजी घ्यावी, असे निर्देश यावेळी दिले.
यावेळी गावक-यांनी सुधारीत नियुक्ती पत्र, किमान कोल वेतन, आंदोलनात सहभागी झालेल्या 25 जणांना नोकरीत सामावून घेणे, कामगारांसाठी घरे, पिण्याच्या शुध्द पाण्यासाठी आर.ओ. मशीन, गावात मुलभूत सोयीसुविधा उपलब्ध करून देणे आदी मागण्या कंपनीकडे केल्या.
बैठकीला सहाय्यक जिल्हाधिकारी रोहन घुगे, निवासी उपजिल्हाधिकारी विशालकुमार मेश्राम, वरोराचे उपविभागीय अधिकारी सुभाष शिंदे, जिल्हा खनिकर्म अधिकारी श्री. नैताम, भाजप जिल्हाध्यक्ष श्री देवराव भोंगळे यांच्यासह मोठ्या संख्येने बरांज येथील गावकरी उपस्थित होते.

The villagers pointed out that the demands of these workers have been pending for many days and the company management is ignoring them. The concerned officials were asked to answer.
Why was the revised appointment letter not given even after the demands agreed in the meeting of Union Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi. Also why minimum wage for workers was not implemented on the lines of Triveni Mines located at Hazaribagh (Jharkhand). It is necessary to fix wages of workers according to the minimum wage. In this regard, a meeting was held on July 21, 2022 under the chairmanship of the District Collector regarding the minimum wage of workers. However, it has been observed that Karnataka Emta is making moves in this regard. This is a very serious matter. He said that a meeting will soon be held in Mumbai with the senior officials of the State Government, Karnataka Government, Emta Company.
So far 10 workers have died in the company's mines. But only six people got financial benefit and asked the officials when the benefits will be given to the remaining four people.
The families concerned were expected to receive compensation within three days. The concerned family should receive this benefit by next Tuesday. Finalize the list of project victims to be rehabilitated expeditiously. During blasting, the walls of some workers' houses have been cracked. His compensation should be paid by the company immediately. Also, it was instructed that the walls should not be cracked due to blasting.
On this occasion, the villagers demanded revised appointment letter, minimum coal wages, employment of 25 people who participated in the agitation, houses for workers, RO for drinking water. Demands were made to the company to provide machines, basic facilities in the village.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Collector Rohan Ghuge, Resident Deputy Collector Vishal Kumar Meshram, Warora Sub Divisional Officer Subhash Shinde, District Mining Officer Shri. Naitam, along with BJP District President Mr. Devrao Bhongle, a large number of villagers from Baranj were present.
