चंद्रपूर १३ ऑक्टोबर - “स्वच्छ भारत मिशन” अंतर्गत “स्वच्छ सर्वेक्षण 2022” मध्ये कचरामुक्त शहरांच्या तारांकित क्रमवारी नियमाअंतर्गत निर्धारित केलेल्या नामांकनामध्ये चंद्रपूर शहराचा ३ स्टार मानांकन देऊन गौरव करण्यात आला आहे. चंद्रपूर शहराने २०२०,२०२१ व २०२२ असे सलग ३ वर्ष ३ स्टार मानांकनाचा दर्जा राखला आहे.
कचरामुक्त शहराच्या दृष्टीने स्वच्छतेचे नियमीत काम महानगरपालिकेतर्फे केले जात आहे. शहरातील सर्व परिसरात घंटागाडीच्या माध्यमातुन कचरा गोळा करणे, कचरा विलीगीकरण करणे सफाई कर्मचाऱ्यांद्वारे विविध पाळ्यात दिवसरात्र केले जाते. कचरामुक्त शहर राखण्याच्या दृष्टीने नागरिकांचा मोठा सभाग सुद्धा लाभत आहे.
चंद्रपुर शहरांसाठी कचरामुक्त तारांकित क्रमवारीचे प्रमाणपत्र देण्याच्या उपक्रमांतर्गत नगरे /शहरे, राज्ये आणि केंद्रशासित प्रदेशांनी स्वच्छतेसाठी केलेल्या चांगल्या कामाची दखल घेण्याच्या आणि या कामाला ओळख देण्याच्या अनुषंगाने हा पुरस्कार दिला जातो. कचरामुक्त शहराच्या तारांकित क्रमवारी नियमाअंतर्गत निर्धारित केलेल्या तारांकित शहरांमध्ये चंद्रपूरचा समावेश आहे.
स्वच्छ सर्वेक्षणाच्या अनुषंगाने केंद्रीय स्वच्छता निरीक्षक समितीद्वारे महानगरपालिका क्षेत्रातील स्थळांची पूर्वकल्पना न देता प्रत्यक्ष पाहणी करण्यात आली होती. पाहणी करत असताना नागरिकांशी सहजपणे संवाद साधत त्यांच्याकडून शहरातील स्वच्छतेविषयी प्रत्यक्ष अभिप्राय घेण्यात आले होते. त्याचप्रमाणे केंद्र सरकारने स्वच्छ भारत अभियानांतर्गत सुरू केलेल्या स्वच्छता अँपवरही नागरिकांच्या प्रतिसादाची नोंद घेण्यात आली होती.

Chandrapur October 13 - Chandrapur city has been honored with 3 star rating in nominations determined under star ranking rules of waste free cities in “Swachh Survekshan 2022” under “Swachh Bharat Mission”. Chandrapur city has maintained the status of 3 star rating for 3 consecutive years 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Regular cleaning work is being done by the Municipal Corporation for a garbage free city. In all areas of the city, waste collection and segregation of garbage is done day and night by the sanitation workers in various shifts. In order to maintain a garbage free city, a large gathering of citizens is also benefiting.
The award is given to recognize and recognize the good work done by cities/towns, states and Union Territories towards cleanliness as part of the initiative to certify the waste-free star rating for cities. Chandrapur is among the star cities determined under the star ranking rule of waste free city.
As part of the Swachh Survekshan, the Central Sanitary Inspection Committee conducted direct inspection of the places in the municipal area without pre-planning. While conducting the inspection, direct feedback about the cleanliness of the city was taken from the citizens while interacting easily. Similarly, the response of the citizens was also recorded on the Swachhta App launched by the Central Government under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
