चंद्रपूर १५ ऑक्टोबर - चंद्रपूर महानगरपालिका व मनपा शाळांमध्ये डॉ. एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम यांची जयंती साजरी करण्यात आली. आयुक्त विपीन पालीवाल यांच्या हस्ते डॉ. अब्दुल कलाम यांच्या प्रतिमेस पुष्पहार घालण्यात आला तसेच मनपा अधिकारी कर्मचारी यांनी पुष्पहार घालुन प्रतिमेस वंदन केले.
चंद्रपूर शहर महानगरपालिका शिक्षण विभागामार्फत मनपाच्या सर्व शाळांमध्ये आज भारतरत्न डॉक्टर एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम यांच्या जयंतीनिमित्त वाचन प्रेरणा दिवस साजरा करण्यात आला. वाचन प्रेरणा दिनाचे औचित्य साधून शाळेतील विद्यार्थ्यांनी विविध पुस्तक वाचन केले तसेच जागतिक हात धुवा दिवससुद्धा साजरा करण्यात आला, याप्रसंगी वर्ग चौथीच्या मुलींनी विद्यार्थ्यांना हात धुण्याची पद्धत कशी हे गीत गाऊन सांगितले.
अनेक विद्यार्थ्यांनी स्वरचित कविता सादर केली आणि वर्ग पाचवीच्या मुलींनी गीत गाऊन हात धुण्याची मोहीम सर्वांपर्यंत पोहोचली पाहिजे यासाठी जागृती केली. याप्रसंगी शिक्षकांद्वारे विविध स्पर्धांचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. भारतरत्न डॉक्टर एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम यांनी सांगितलेले शिक्षणाचे महत्व विद्यार्थ्यांना विषद करण्यात आले. या सर्व कार्यक्रमांचे व्यवस्थापन व नियंत्रण शाळेचे मुख्याध्यापक व शिक्षकांनी केले.

Chandrapur October 15 - Dr. Chandrapur Municipal Corporation and Municipal Schools. APJ Abdul Kalam's birth anniversary was celebrated. Commissioner Vipin Paliwal by Dr. A wreath was placed on the statue of Abdul Kalam and municipal officials paid tribute to the statue by placing wreaths.
Reading Inspiration Day was celebrated today on the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Doctor APJ Abdul Kalam in all the schools of the Municipal Corporation by the Education Department of Chandrapur City. On the occasion of Reading Inspiration Day, the students of the school read various books and World Hand Washing Day was also celebrated, on this occasion the girls of Class IV sang to the students how to wash their hands.
Many students performed poetry and class 5 girls sang songs to spread awareness about the hand washing campaign. Various competitions were organized by the teachers on this occasion. Bharatratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam told the importance of education to the students. All these programs were managed and controlled by the school principal and teachers.
