चंद्रपूर २३ ऑक्टोबर - चंद्रपूर शहर महानगरपालिका आरोग्य विभागातर्फे मनपात काम करणाऱ्या महिला कर्मचाऱ्यांकरिता आरोग्य मार्गदर्शन कार्यक्रम २० ऑक्टोबर रोजी मनपा राणी हिराई सभागृहात आयोजीत करण्यात आला होता. मनपा वैद्यकीय आरोग्य अधिकारी डॉ. वनिता गर्गेलवार यांच्या मार्गदर्शनात महिला कर्मचाऱ्यांना आरोग्य मार्गदर्शन करण्यात आले.
ऑक्टोबर महिना हा स्तन कॅन्सर जनजागृती महिना म्हणुन पाळला जातो यामागचा मूळ उद्देश म्हणजे या विकाराचे समूळ उच्चाटन व जनजागृती करणे आहे. महिलांची मानसिकता ही कुटुंबातील इतरांची, समाजाची काळजी घेण्याची असते, त्यामध्ये त्या स्वत:च्या आरोग्याकडे दुर्लक्ष करतात. त्यामुळे केवळ त्या महिलेचीच नाही तर संपूर्ण कुटुंबाचीच हानी होते.
स्तनाच्या कर्करोगावर वैद्यकीय उपचार करण्यासाठी वेळीच आजार ओळखणे गरजेचे आहे. स्तनामध्ये गाठ आहे का, हे जाणून घेण्यासाठी विसाव्या वर्षापासून महिन्यातून एकदा स्तनपरीक्षण करावे. तिसाव्या वर्षांपासून डॉक्‍टरांकडून वार्षिक स्तनाची तपासणी करून घेणे आवश्यक आहे. चाळीसाव्या वर्षापासून अनुभवी केंद्रात जाऊन वार्षिक मॅमोग्राफी करणेही तितकेच आवश्यक आहे. लवकर निदान जर झाले तर सदर रोग पुर्णपणे बरे होण्याची शक्यता असते माता सुरक्षित तर घर सुरक्षित या अभियाना अंतर्गत महिलांनी आपल्या आरोग्याची काळजी कशी घ्यावी याचेही मार्गदर्शन चंद्रपुर शहरातील विख्यात वैद्यकीय तज्ञ डॉ. कल्याणी दीक्षित, डॉ. स्नेहल पोटदुखे, डॉ. प्रेरणा कोलते यांच्याद्वारे उपस्थित महिला अधिकारी कर्मचारी वर्गाला करण्यात आले.

October is observed as breast cancer awareness month with the main objective of eradicating this disease and raising public awareness. The mentality of women is to take care of others in the family, society, in which they neglect their own health. It not only harms the woman but also the entire family.
Early detection of the disease is essential for medical treatment of breast cancer. To know if there is a tumor in the breast, from the age of twenty years, breast examination should be done once a month. From the age of 30, it is necessary to have an annual breast examination by a doctor. Annual mammography from the age of 40 onwards at an experienced center is equally essential. If the disease is diagnosed early, there is a possibility of complete recovery of the disease. Under the campaign Mother Safe, Home Safe, women are also guided how to take care of their health by well-known medical expert Dr. Chandrapur. Kalyani Dixit, Dr. Snehal Potdukhe, Dr. Presented by Prerna Kolte, women officers were introduced to the workforce.
