वनमंत्र्यांच्या हस्ते झाडावरील ‘क्यूआर कोडचे’ लोकार्पण

चंद्रपूर, दि. 24 : झाडाची संपूर्ण माहिती, त्याचे उपयोग आदी बाबी जाणून घेण्यासाठी चंद्रपूर येथील वन प्रबोधनीने अभिनव उपक्रम राबवून झाडावर ‘क्यूआर कोड’ विकसीत केला आहे. या क्यूआर कोडचे लोर्कापण राज्याचे वनमंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार यांच्या हस्ते वन प्रबोधनीच्या परिसरात नुकतेच करण्यात आले. विशेष म्हणजे या क्यूआर कोडच्या माध्यमातून आता झाड स्वत:बद्दलची माहिती स्वत:च देणार आहे.
‘टॉकिंग ट्री’ म्हणजेच बोलणारे झाड असा हा उपक्रम आहे. या उपक्रमांतर्गत चंद्रपूर वन प्रबोधनीच्या परिसरातील विविध प्रजातींची झाडे मोबाईलद्वारे ओळखता येऊ शकणार आहे. तसेच प्रत्येक प्रजातीची सविस्तर माहिती दृकश्राव्य माध्यमातून उपलब्ध होणार आहे. वन प्रबोधनी परिसरातील प्रत्येक झाडावर पाटी स्वरुपात क्यूआर कोड लावण्यात येणार आहे. ‘टॉकिंग ट्री’ या मोबाईल ॲपद्वारे क्यूआर कोड स्कॅन केल्यानंतर संबंधित झाड स्वत:बद्दल विविध भाषेमध्ये माहिती देणार आहे.
वन प्रबोधनी परिसरात मोठ्या प्रमाणात वन व वनेत्तर प्रजातींची झाडे असून या ॲपच्या वापरामुळे परिसरातील जैव विविधतेबद्दल अधिकाधिक माहिती जाणून घेणे शक्य होणार आहे.
क्यूआर कोडचे लोकार्पण केल्यानंतर वनमंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार म्हणाले, विसापूर येथे तयार होणा-या बॉटनिकल गार्डनमध्येही वन विभागाने हा उपक्रम राबवावा. तसेच या उपक्रमाचा विस्तार गंगोत्रीप्रमाणे करण्यासाठी वन विभागाने नियोजन करावे. झाडावर क्यूआर कोडची अभिनव संकल्पना राबविल्याबद्दल वनमंत्र्यांनी प्रबोधनीचे संचालक एम. श्रीनिवास रेड्डी यांचे अभिनंदन केले.
यावेळी कॅम्पाचे प्रधान मुख्य संरक्षक शैलेश टेंभुर्णे, प्रधान मुख्य वनसंरक्षक (वन्यजीव) महिप गुप्ता, चंद्रपूरचे मुख्य वनसंरक्षक प्रकाश लोणकर, ताडोबा अंधारी व्याघ्र प्रकल्पाचे संचालक जितेंद्र रामगावकर, विभागीय वन अधिकारी प्रशांत खाडे, वन प्रबोधिनीचे सल्लागार मंगेश इंदापवार आदी उपस्थित होते.

Chandrapur, Dt. 24 : In order to know the complete information about the tree, its uses etc., the forest education department of Chandrapur has developed a 'QR code' on the tree by implementing an innovative initiative. The launch of this QR code was done by the state forest minister Sudhir Mungantiwar in the area of Van Prabodhani recently. What is special is that now the tree is going to give information about itself through this QR code.
This activity is called 'Talking Tree'. Under this initiative, the trees of various species in the area of Chandrapur Van Prabodhani will be identified through mobile phones. Also, detailed information about each species will be available through audio-visual. A QR code will be placed on every tree in the Van Prabodhani area in the form of a board. After scanning the QR code through the mobile app 'Talking Tree', the respective tree will give information about itself in different languages.
There are a large number of trees of forest and non-forest species in Van Prabodhani area and by using this app it will be possible to know more information about the biodiversity of the area.
After launching the QR code, Forest Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar said, the forest department should also implement this activity in the botanical garden to be created in Visapur. Also, the forest department should plan to expand this activity like Gangotri. For implementing the innovative concept of QR code on the tree, Forest Minister M. Congratulations to Srinivasa Reddy.
Camp Principal Chief Conservator Shailesh Tembhurne, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) Mahip Gupta, Chandrapur Chief Conservator of Forests Prakash Lonkar, Director of Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve Jitendra Ramgaonkar, Divisional Forest Officer Prashant Khade, Mangesh Indapwar, Adviser of Van Prabodhini and others were present.
