चंद्रपुर: केंद्र सरकारच्या आरोग्य व कुटुंबकल्याण मंत्रालयामार्फत आणि भारतीय वैद्यकीय संशोधन संस्थेच्या अंतर्गत येणाऱ्या सेंटर फॉर रिसर्च, मॅनेजमेंट, कंट्रोल ऑफ हिमोग्लोबिनोपॅथीस केंद्राचे रविवार 11 डिसेंबर 2022 रोजी मा. पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या हस्ते नागपूर येथून ऑनलाईन पद्धतीने होणार आहे.
या सेंटरच्या माध्यमातून हिमोग्लोबीनोपॅथीजशी संबंधीत आजाराचे संशोधन, व्यवस्थापन व नियंत्रण करण्याच्या उद्देश आहे. या संस्थेचा पायाभरणी समारंभ पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या हस्ते दूरदृश्य प्रणालीद्वारे 16 फेब्रुवारी 2019 रोजी झाला होता. 85.28 कोटी निधी खर्च करून बांधण्यात आलेल्या या इमारतीमध्ये सिकलसेलशी संबंधित संशोधन केंद्र, प्रयोगशाळा, वसतिगृह आणि निवासी वसाहत उभारण्यात आले आहे.
मध्य भारतामध्ये सिकलसेल थॅलेसेमीया या अनुवांशीक आजाराचे प्रमाण जास्त असल्याने या संस्थेची निर्मिती विदर्भातील चंद्रपूर येथे करण्यात आली. जेणेकरून महाराष्ट्रासोबत मध्यप्रदेश, छ्त्तीसगढ, आंध्रप्रदेश आणि तेलंगणा या भागातील रुग्णांनासुद्धा या संस्थेचा फायदा व्हावा. त्याकरिता स्वतंत्र संस्थेची स्थापना केंद्र सरकार मार्फत करण्यात येत आहे.
या संस्थेच्या माध्यमातून सिकलसेल थॅलेसेमीया व इतर हिमोग्लोबीनशी संबंधीत आजाराचे तात्काळ व अद्यावत तंत्रज्ञानाच्या साह्याने निदान करण्याची सुविधा पुरवण्यात येत आहे. तज्ञ शास्त्रज्ञ व प्रशिक्षित तंत्रज्ञांच्या साह्याने या सुविधा पुरवण्यात येतात.

Chandrapur: Center for Research, Management, Control of Hemoglobinopathies under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Union Government and under the Indian Institute of Medical Research on Sunday 11 December 2022 Hon. It will be held online from Nagpur by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The aim of this center is to research, manage and control diseases related to hemoglobinopathies. The foundation-laying ceremony of this institution was held by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 16 February 2019 through television system. A research center, laboratory, hostel and residential colony related to sickle cell have been set up in this building at a cost of 85.28 crores.
As the prevalence of sickle cell thalassemia, a genetic disease, is high in Central India, this institute was established at Chandrapur in Vidarbha. So that along with Maharashtra, the patients of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana should also benefit from this institute. For that, an independent organization is being established through the central government.
Through this institute, facilities are being provided for immediate diagnosis of sickle cell thalassemia and other hemoglobin related diseases with the help of latest technology. These facilities are provided by expert scientists and trained technicians.
