Justice Navin Chawla while pronouncing his judgment said that "Amitabh Bachchan, is a well-known personality. His voice and his name are used in various advertisements. But now, without the permission or authorization of Amitabh Bachchan, his own belongings and To promote the services, one cannot use their celebrity status."

Personality rights, also called the right of publicity, is the right for an individual to control the commercial use of his or her identity, such as name and image. The court also issued directions to the authorities and telecom service providers to remove content infringing on the personality rights of Amitabh Bachchan.

Actually, some companies are using Amitabh Bachchan's name, voice and personality in a wrong way. The actor has said in the petition that those who are doing this thing are wrong. They should be controlled in the commercial industry. A lottery ad in the name of Amitabh Bachchan is also running on the social media platform, where his photo is displayed on the promotional banner. Apart from this, there is also the logo of KBC on it. Someone has made this banner to mislead people. There is no truth in this at all.
