चंद्रपूर, दि. 11 दिसंबर : देशाचे पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या हस्ते नागपूर येथून दूरदृष्यप्रणालीद्वारे चंद्रपुरातील सेंट्रल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ पेट्रोकेमिकल्स इंजिनिअरिंग अँड टेक्नोलॉजी (सिपेट) व सेंटर फॉर रिसर्च, मॅनेजमेंट, कंट्रोल ऑफ हिमोग्लोबिनोपॅथीस केंद्राचे लोकार्पण करण्यात आले.
नागपूर येथे विविध विकासकामांचे लोकार्पण करतांना पंतप्रधानांनी चंद्रपूर येथील कौशल्य विकासावर आधारी रोजगार देणारी सिपेट आणि वैद्यकीय संशोधन करणा-या हिमोग्लोबिनोपॅथीस सेंटरचे रिमोट दाबून लोकार्पण केले. या कार्यक्रमाला चंद्रपूर येथे केंद्रीय रसायने व पेट्रोलियम मंत्रालयाचे सहसचिव दीपक मिश्रा, सिपेटचे महासंचालक शिशिर सिन्हा, चंद्रपूर सिपेटचे संचालक अवनीध जोशी, बल्लारपूरच्या उपविभागीय अधिकारी डॉ. दिप्ती सुर्यवंशी, एमआयडीसीचे कार्यकारी अभियंता हेमंत कुलकर्णी, सिपेटचे तांत्रिक संचालक श्री. मूर्ती, प्रशासकीय अधिकारी पंकज वाघमारे आदी उपस्थित होते.
यावेळी नागपूरवरून दूरदृष्यप्रणालीद्वारे मार्गदर्शन करतांना पंतप्रधान म्हणाले, नागपूरात आज 11 योजनांचे लोकार्पण होत आहे. यात चंद्रपूरातील दोन संस्थांचा समावेश आहे. सिपेटद्वारे रोजगार निर्मिती आणि हिमोग्लोबिनोपॅथीस सेंटरच्या माध्यमातून वैद्यकीय संशोधनात नवी दिशा मिळणार आहे. शिक्षण आणि आरोग्यसेवेचा विकास हा सामुहिकरित्या होणे गरजेचे आहे. तरच वंचित घटक विकासाच्या प्रक्रियेत येऊ शकतात. चौथ्या औद्योगिक क्रांतीची संधी भारत गमावू शकत नाही. या संधीचे सोने करण्यासाठी स्थायी विकास महत्वाचा आहे. त्यासाठी आपल्या पायाभूत सुविधा अद्यावत करणे आवश्यक आहे, असे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले.
तत्पुर्वी चंद्रपूर येथे सिपेटचे महासंचालक श्री. सिन्हा म्हणाले, या संस्थेचे लोकार्पण देशाचे पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या हस्ते होत आहे, हा अतिशय आनंदाचा क्षण आहे. चंद्रपूर येथील सिपेट ही संस्था देशातील 46 वी संस्था आहे. 54 वर्षात या संस्थेने कौशल्य विकासावर आधारीत रोजगाराभिमुख विद्यार्थी घडविले असून प्लॅस्टिक क्षेत्रात अमुल्य योगदान दिले आहे. येथे प्रशिक्षण घेऊन उत्तीर्ण होणारे 90 टक्क्के विद्यार्थी विविध कंपन्यांमध्ये नोकरी करीत आहे. राज्य व केंद्र सरकारच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने चालणारी ही संस्था चंद्रपूर व आदिवासी क्षेत्रासाठी रोजगाराची नवी संधी आहे, असे त्यांनी सांगितले.
तत्पूर्वी मान्यवरांच्या हस्ते दीप प्रज्वलन करण्यात आले. यावेळी विद्यार्थीनींनी स्वागत गितावर नृत्य सादर केले. कार्यक्रमाचे संचालन शीतल भालेराव यांनी केले. कार्यक्रमाला सिपेटचे तांत्रिक विभाग प्रमुख, सर्व अधिकारी व कर्मचारी आणि विद्यार्थी उपस्थित होते.
⭕ सिपेट संस्थेविषयी माहिती : सेंट्रल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ पेट्रोकेमिकल्स इंजिनिअरिंग अँड टेक्नोलॉजी (सिपेट) ही भारत सरकारच्या रसायन व पेट्रोरसायन विभाग तसेच रसायन व खते मंत्रालयाची मान्यता प्राप्त असलेली ISO 9001:2015 प्रमाणित नामांकित संस्था आहे. संपूर्ण भारतात प्लास्टिक तंत्रज्ञानाचा प्रसार करण्यासाठी तसेच प्लास्टिक अभियांत्रिकी आणि तंत्रज्ञानाच्या क्षेत्रात विशेष तांत्रिक प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमांतर्गत मनुष्यबळ विकासाचे काम करत आहे. तसेच प्लास्टिक क्षेत्रातील आणि संबंधित उद्योगांच्या विकासासाठी प्रशिक्षण, तांत्रिक आणि पायाभूत सुविधा उपलब्ध करून देण्याचे कार्य करत आहे.
महाराष्ट्रात चंद्रपूर येथे प्लास्टिक आणि संबंधित उद्योगांच्या क्षेत्रातील मानव संसाधन व कुशल मनुष्यबळाची गरज भागविण्यासाठी आणि या क्षेत्रातील उद्योगांना तांत्रिक सहाय्य सेवा प्रदान करण्यासाठी केंद्र सरकारच्या संयुक्त प्रयत्नांनी सिपेट संस्था सुरु करण्यात आलेली आहे. सद्यस्थितित सिपेट, चंद्रपुर येथे शैक्षणिक वर्ष 2021-22 करीता डिप्लोमा कोर्सेससाठी प्रवेश प्रकिया सुरु आहे. या डिप्लोमा कोर्सेसमध्ये तीन वर्ष कालावधी असलेले डिप्लोमा इन प्लास्टिक्स टेक्नोलॉजी (DPT) आणि डिप्लोमा इन प्लास्टिक्स मोल्ड टेक्नोलॉजी (DPMT)
हे दोन कोर्सेस उपलब्ध आहेत. डिप्लोमा उत्तीर्ण झालेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांना देशांतर्गत तसेच विदेशात देखील बहुराष्ट्रीय प्लास्टिक उद्योग (मल्टीनेशनल प्लास्टिक इंडस्ट्रीज) मध्ये मोठ्या प्रमाणात रोजगारांच्या संधी उपलब्ध आहेत.
तसेच सिपेट चंद्रपूरमधून कौशल्य विकास योजनांतर्गत आतापर्यंत जवळपास 4280 विद्यार्थ्यांना प्रशिक्षण देण्यात आलेले आहे. आणि त्यापैंकी 3722 म्हणजेच 87 टक्के विद्यार्थ्यांना टाटा ऑटोकॉम्प सिस्टिम लि., वॅरोक पॉलीम प्रा.लि., जाबील सर्किट इंडिया प्रा.लि., आरसी प्लास्टो प्रा.लि. या व इतर नामांकित कंपन्यामध्ये रोजगार उपलब्ध करून देण्यात आलेला आहे.
Inauguration of CIPET and Hemoglobinopathies Center by the Prime Minister

Chandrapur, Dt. December 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET) and the Center for Research, Management, Control of Hemoglobinopathies in Chandrapur through television from Nagpur.
While inaugurating various development projects in Nagpur, the Prime Minister also inaugurated CIPET, which provides employment based on skill development and Hemoglobinopathies Center, which conducts medical research, at Chandrapur by pressing a remote. Deepak Mishra, Joint Secretary of Union Ministry of Chemicals and Petroleum, Shishir Sinha, Director General of CIPET, Chandrapur CIPET Director Avneedh Joshi, Ballarpur Sub Divisional Officer Dr. Dipti Suryavanshi, MIDC Executive Engineer Hemant Kulkarni, Sipet Technical Director Shri. Murthy, administrative officer Pankaj Waghmare and others were present.
On this occasion, while giving guidance through television system from Nagpur, the Prime Minister said, 11 schemes are being launched in Nagpur today. It includes two institutes in Chandrapur. Employment generation through CIPET and new direction in medical research through Hemoglobinopathies Centre. Development of education and healthcare needs to be done collectively. Only then the disadvantaged elements can enter the development process. India cannot afford to miss the opportunity for the fourth industrial revolution. Sustainable development is key to seizing this opportunity. For that, it is necessary to update our infrastructure, said the Prime Minister.
Previously Director General of Sipet in Chandrapur Mr. Sinha said, it is a very happy moment that this institution is being inaugurated by the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi. Sipet Institute at Chandrapur is the 46th institute in the country. In 54 years, this institute has produced employable students based on skill development and has made a valuable contribution in the field of plastics. 90 percent of the students who pass the training here are employed in various companies. He said that this institute, run jointly by the state and central government, is a new opportunity for employment for Chandrapur and tribal areas.
Earlier, the lamp was lit by dignitaries. On this occasion, students performed a dance on Swagat Gita. The program was moderated by Sheetal Bhalerao. The program was attended by the Head of Technical Department of Sipet, all officers and staff and students.
⭕ About CIPET Institute: Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET) is an ISO 9001:2015 certified institute recognized by the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals and Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. It is working for the dissemination of plastics technology across India as well as manpower development under special technical training programs in the field of plastics engineering and technology. It is also working to provide training, technical and infrastructural facilities for the development of plastics sector and related industries.
Cipet Institute has been started by the joint efforts of the Central Government to meet the need of human resource and skilled manpower in the field of plastic and related industries and to provide technical support services to the industries in this sector at Chandrapur in Maharashtra. Currently the admission process for diploma courses for the academic year 2021-22 is underway at Sipet, Chandrapur. These diploma courses include Diploma in Plastics Technology (DPT) and Diploma in Plastics Mold Technology (DPMT) of three years duration.
These two courses are available. The students who have passed the diploma have a large number of employment opportunities in the multinational plastic industries within the country as well as abroad.
Also, almost 4280 students have been trained so far under skill development scheme from Sipet Chandrapur. And out of them 3722 i.e. 87 percent of the students were recruited by Tata Autocomp System Ltd., Varoc Polym Pvt. Ltd., Jabil Circuit India Pvt. Ltd., RC Plasto Pvt. Ltd. Employment has been made available in these and other reputed companies.
