उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी त्यांचं उपोषण सोडविले
चंद्रपुर, 30 सेप्टेंबर: आज अखेर 20 दिवसानंतर रवींद्र टोंगे यांनी उपोषण सोडलं आहे. ओबीसींच्या आरक्षणाच्या मुद्द्यावरून टोंगे यांनी उपोषण पुकारलं होतं. राज्याचे उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी उपोषण स्थळी येऊन टोंगे यांना ज्यूस दिला आणि त्यानंतर टोंगे यांनी उपोषण मागे घेतले. राज्य सरकारने आमच्या मागण्या मान्य केल्याबद्दल ओबीसी संघटनेने राज्य सरकारचे आभार मानले आहेत. यावेळी जोरदार घोषणाबाजी करण्यात आली.
ओबीसींच्या आरक्षणात कुणालाही वाटेकरी करू नये या मागणीसाठी रवींद्र टोंगे यांनी गेल्या 20 दिवसांपासून उपोषण सुरू केलं होतं. त्यांच्यासोबतच विजय बलकी आणि प्रेमानंद जोगी यांनीही गेल्या आठ दिवसांपासून उपोषण सुरू केलं होतं. या तिघांनाही लिंबू पाणी देऊन उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी त्यांचं उपोषण सोडलं. याप्रसंगी वन मंत्री व पालकमंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार आणि ओबीसी नेते बबनराव तायवाडे, आमदार किशोर जोरगेवार, आमदार बंटी भांगडिया, आमदार फुके, ओबीसी नेते अशोक जीवतोड़े, ओबीसी नेते सचिन राजुरकर, ओबीसी नेत्या गोमती पंचभाई उपस्थित होते. यावेळी टोंगे यांनी आम्ही उपोषण आणि ओबीसींची सर्व आंदोलने मागे घेत असल्याचं जाहीर केलं.
काल ओबीसी नेत्यांची मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे यांच्यासोबत बैठक झाली. यावेळी शिंदे यांनी ओबीसींच्या सर्व मागण्या मान्य केल्या. तसेच ओबीसींच्या आरक्षणात कुणालाही वाटेकरी करणार नाही, ओबीसींच्या आरक्षणाला धक्का देणार नाही, असं स्पष्ट केलं. त्यामुळेच टोंगे आणि त्यांच्या सहकाऱ्यांनी उपोषण मागे घेतले.

Chandrapur, September 30: Rabindra Tonge has ended his hunger strike today after 20 days. Tonge had called for a fast on the issue of reservation for OBCs. Deputy Chief Minister of the state Devendra Fadnavis came to the site of the fast and gave juice to Tonge after which Tonge called off the fast. The OBC organization has thanked the state government for accepting our demands. Loud slogans were raised on this occasion.
Ravindra Tonge had started a fast for the last 20 days to demand that no one should be involved in the reservation of OBCs. Along with him, Vijay Balki and Premanand Jogi also started fasting for the last eight days. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis broke his hunger strike by giving lemon water to all three. Forest Minister & Guardian Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar and OBC leader Babanrao Taiwade, MLA Kishore Jorgewar, MLA Bunty Bhangdia, MLA Phuke, OBC leader Ashok Jeevtode, OBC leader Sachin Rajurkar, OBC leader Gomti Panchbhai were present on the occasion. On this occasion, Tonge announced that we are withdrawing the fast and all the agitations of OBCs.
OBC leaders had a meeting with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde yesterday. At this time, Shinde accepted all the demands of the OBCs. He also clarified that no one will be involved in the reservation of OBCs, he will not push the reservation of OBCs. That is why Tonge and his colleagues called off the fast.
