चंद्रपूर, दि. 20 सप्टेंबर : जिल्ह्यातील नागभीड तालुक्यातील 15 वर्षीय अल्पवयीन बालिकेचा विवाह सिंदेवाही तालुक्यातील 20 वर्षीय अल्पवयीन बालकासोबत होणार होता. बालविवाहाची माहिती मिळताच त्या माहितीच्या आधारे जिल्हा महिला व बालविकास अधिकारी, जिल्हा बाल संरक्षण कक्ष, चाइल्ड लाईन व सिदेंवाही पोलिस प्रशासनाच्या सतर्कतेने व संयुक्त कार्यवाहीने सदर बालविवाह थांबविण्यात आला. सिदेंवाही तालुक्यातील एका गावात बालविवाह होणार असल्याची माहिती चाइल्ड लाईनच्या 1098 या टोल-फ्री क्रमांकावर मिळाली.
माहिती मिळाल्यानंतर जिल्हा बाल संरक्षण अधिकारी, बाल संरक्षण कक्ष नागभिड व चाईल्ड लाईन या यंत्रणेने सिदेंवाही पोलीस प्रशासनाशी संपर्क साधून माहिती दिली. पोलीस प्रशासनाने सदर गावात भेट देत बालविवाह थांबविण्याची कार्यवाही करत बालविवाह न करण्याचे आदेश दिले. दुसऱ्या दिवशी चाईल्ड लाईन, आणि सिंदेवाही पोलीस विभागाने संयुक्तरीत्या विवाहस्थळी भेट दिली. तसेच अल्पवयीन बालकाच्या व बालिकेच्या कुटुंबाचे समुपदेशन केले.
सदर प्रकरणांमध्ये जिल्हा महिला व बालविकास अधिकारी दीपक बानाईत, जिल्हा बाल संरक्षण अधिकारी अजय साखरकर,महिला विकास मंडळाच्या सरचिटणीस प्रभावती मुठाळ, चाईल्ड लाईनच्या संचालिका ज्योती राखुंडे, बाल कल्याण समिती अध्यक्षा क्षमा बासरकर, पोलीस विभाग आदींचे सहकार्य लाभले.
Success in preventing child marriage through vigilance of Child Protection Cell and Child Line
Chandrapur, September 20: A 15-year-old minor girl from Nagbhid taluka of the district was to be married to a 20-year-old minor boy from Sindewahi taluka. As soon as the information about child marriage was received, on the basis of that information, the said child marriage was stopped with vigilance and joint action of District Women and Child Development Officer, District Child Protection Cell, Child Line and Sidenwahi Police Administration. The toll-free number 1098 of Child Line received information about a child marriage taking place in a village in Sidenwahi taluka.
After receiving the information, the District Child Protection Officer, Child Protection Cell Nagbhid and Child Line contacted the Sidenwahi Police Administration and gave the information. The police administration visited the village and ordered to stop child marriage. The next day Child Line, and Sindewahi Police Department jointly visited the marriage venue. Also counseled the family of the minor boy and the girl.
In these cases, District Women and Child Development Officer Deepak Banait, District Child Protection Officer Ajay Sakharkar, Women Development Board General Secretary Prabhavati Muthal, Child Line Director Jyoti Rakhunde, Child Welfare Committee Chairperson Kshama Basarkar, Police Department etc.
