मुंबई : महाराष्ट्र में गणपति विसर्जन के अंतिम दिन शुक्रवार को कम से कम 20 लोगों की मौत हो गई। डीजीपी कार्यालय द्वारा जारी आंकड़ों से यह जानकारी सामने आई है। पुलिस ने कहा कि इनमें से 14 की मौत डूबने से हुई, जबकि एक ही परिवार के चार सदस्यों ने नागपुर में एक दुर्घटना में घायल होने के कारण दम तोड़ दिया। वहीं ठाणे में एक पंडाल पर पेड़ गिरने से एक 55 वर्षीय महिला की मौत हो गई। पुलिस ने कहा कि राज्य के 13 जिलों में मौतों की सूचना मिली है, वहीं मुंबई में गणेश उत्सव और विसर्जन जुलूस शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से संपन्न हुआ और किसी अप्रिय घटना की खबर नहीं है।
▶️ पानी में डूबने से हुई ज्यादातर मौतें
पुलिस ने बताया कि वर्धा जिले में डूबने से चार लोगों की मौत हो गई। इनमें से तीन सावंगी में डूब गए, जबकि चौथे की देवली में मौत हो गई। जबकि अहमदनगर के सुप्रा और बेलवंडी, पुणे (ग्रामीण) के घोडेगांव, सोलापुर के विजापुर नाका, सातारा के लोनीकंद और धुले तालुका में डूबने से एक-एक की मौत हो गई, यवतमाल के आर्णी में ऐसी दो मौतें हुईं। जलगांव जिले के चालीसगांव और जामनेर में दो अन्य लोगों की डूबने से मौत हो गई। इसी बीच नागपुर फ्लाईओवर पर हुए हादसे में दोपहिया वाहन पर सवार एक ही परिवार के चार लोगों की मौत हो गई। पुलिस ने कहा कि उनकी बाइक तेज रफ्तार एसयूवी कार से टकरा गई।
▶️ बिजली का तार टूटने पर हुआ हादसा
एक अन्य घटना में, ठाणे के राबोदी में एक गणेश पंडाल पर पेड़ गिरने से 55 वर्षीय एक महिला की मौत हो गई। राजश्री वालावलकर और अन्य घायलों को अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां इलाज के दौरान महिला की मौत हो गई। इस बीच, पनवेल के वडघर में विसर्जन के दौरान एक जनरेटर का तार टूट गया, जिससे 11 लोग घायल हो गए। पुलिस के मुताबिक आगे कहा कि जहां अहमदनगर में शिवसेना के एकनाथ शिंदे और उद्धव ठाकरे गुटों के बीच विवाद की सूचना मिली, वहीं चंद्रपुर शहर में पुलिस कर्मियों और गणेश मंडल कार्यकर्ताओं के बीच विवाद हुआ।
Ganesh Utsav 2022: 20 people die across Maharashtra during Ganpati immersion
Mumbai: At least 20 people died on Friday, the last day of Ganpati immersion in Maharashtra. This information has come out from the data released by the DGP office. Of these, 14 died due to drowning, while four members of the same family succumbed to injuries in an accident in Nagpur, police said. In Thane, a 55-year-old woman died after a tree fell on a pandal. While deaths have been reported in 13 districts of the state, the Ganesh festival and immersion processions in Mumbai took place peacefully and no untoward incident was reported, police said.
️ Most of the deaths due to drowning in water
Four people died due to drowning in Wardha district, police said. Of these, three drowned in Savangi, while the fourth died in Deoli. While one each died of drowning in Supra and Belvandi of Ahmednagar, Ghodegaon in Pune (Rural), Vijapur Naka in Solapur, Lonikand and Dhule talukas of Satara, two such deaths occurred in Arni in Yavatmal. Two others died due to drowning in Chalisgaon and Jamner in Jalgaon district. Meanwhile, four people of the same family on a two-wheeler were killed in an accident on the Nagpur flyover. Police said his bike collided with a speeding SUV car.
️ Accident happened due to break of electric wire
In another incident, a 55-year-old woman died after a tree fell on a Ganesh pandal in Thane's Rabodi. Rajshree Walawalkar and other injured were taken to the hospital, where the woman died during treatment. Meanwhile, a generator wire broke during immersion at Panvel's Vadghar, injuring 11 people. According to the police further said that while a dispute was reported between Eknath Shinde and Uddhav Thackeray factions of Shiv Sena in Ahmednagar, there was a dispute between police personnel and Ganesh Mandal workers in Chandrapur city.
