नई दिल्ली: कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष चुनाव में अब बस एक ही दीन का समय बचा है. कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष पद के उम्मीदवार शशि थरूर और मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे अपने पक्ष में वोट के लिए डेलिगेट्स से मुलाकात कर रहे हैं.
हालांकि, कांग्रेस के कई दिग्गज नेताओं ने मल्लिकार्जुन खड़ेगा का समर्थन किया हैं. लेकिन थरूर को भरोसा है कि उन्हें युवाओं का समर्थन मिलेगा. बता दें कि चुनाव के लिए सोनिया गांधी शिमला से दिल्ली लौट गई हैं. हालांकि वे अपना समर्थन किस उम्मीदवार को देंगी इसका अबतक पार्टी ने खुलासा नहीं किया है.

कांग्रेस पार्टी के तकरीबन 137 साल के इतिहास में छठी बार यह तय करने के लिए चुनावी मुकाबला होगा कि कौन पार्टी के इस अहम पद की कमान संभालेगा. इसके साथ ही सोनिया गांधी, राहुल गांधी और प्रियंका गांधी वाद्रा के पार्टी के अध्यक्ष पद का चुनाव न लड़ने पर 24 वर्ष बाद गांधी परिवार के बाहर का कोई व्यक्ति कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष बनेगा. इसे लेकर दोनों उम्मीदवार 9,000 से अधिक डेलीगेट्स को लुभाने लुभाने के लिए विभिन्न राज्यों का दौरा कर रहे हैं.
➡️ चुनाव से पहले थरूर ने किया ये दावा
चुनाव से पहले मीडिया से बात करते शशि थरूर ने दावा किया कि पार्टी के युवा सदस्य उनका समर्थन कर रहे हैं, जबकि वरिष्ठ नेता दूसरे उम्मीदवार एवं उनके प्रतिद्वंद्वी मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे का समर्थन कर रहे हैं. उन्होंने कहा, वरिष्ठ नेता, खरगे का समर्थन कर रहे हैं. हम बदलाव के बारे में बात कर रहे हैं और वरिष्ठ नेता इसका प्रतिरोध कर रहे हैं. उन्होंने स्वीकार किया कि पार्टी के कई पदाधिकारी खरगे के लिए प्रचार कर रहे हैं. उन्होंने इस बात का जिक्र किया कि चुनाव गुप्त मतपत्रों के जरिये होगा और वरिष्ठ नेताओं के वोट और युवा सदस्यों के मत का मान समान है.
➡️ एसएमएस के जरिए दोनों उम्मीदवारों ने किया प्रचार
अध्यक्ष पद के दोनों उम्मीदवारों ने देशभर में अपने समर्थन में प्रचार किया है. लेकिन राजस्थान में बीते महीने हुए सियासी संकट के चलते दोनों नेताओं ने प्रचार नहीं किया. बता दें कि राजस्थान में करीब 413 डेलिगेट्स को दोनों उम्मीदवारों ने एसएमएस के जरिए समर्थन मांगा है. वहीं मीडिया रिपोर्ट में इन बात का भी खुलासा किया गया है कि एक दिन में 4 से 5 कॉल डेलिगेट्स को किए गए हैं.

Tharoor made this claim before the election
